He wanted to see children and their families free from the pain of sickness and lead healthy lives, able to thrive in society, this led to his decision to specialise in Paediatrics.
After an initial postgraduate training in Nigeria for about 5 years, he moved to the United Kingdom to continue his training for another seven years. He started his paediatric training in the north thames Paediatric rotation in London, England and completed this in 2014. Some of the hospitals he’s worked at include St Mary’s Paddington, Queen Charlottes and Chelsea Hospital Neonatal unit and Royal London Hospital, to name a few.
Upon completion of his training in England in 2014, he did not restrict himself to where he had trained but instead continued to gather experience and acquire diverse skills by working across the United Kingdom, including Scotland, Wales and finally in Belfast, Northern Ireland where he worked at The Royal Belfast Hospital for Sick Children for about 4 years before he moved to Australia with his family, mid – 2022.
Upon arrival in Australia, he worked at Tweed Hospital in NSW. He has since obtained his Fellowship Royal Australasian College of Paediatrics.
