Children are prone to anxious feelings about different things that tend to change with age. Although most of the anxious conditions prevailing among children are normal, some may suffer from anxiety seriously. From about eight months age to three years children get separation anxiety as they always love to cling to their parents or carers. This habit becomes faded with time as they grow. Few things that really helps to take care of children they feel anxious are:
- Helping a child eliminating the anxiety by removing the stress, fear or any other feelings that might have been causing serious anxiousness.
- Inducing the feeling of positivity and confidence helps a child to cope up with any situation better. This in turn will cause the level of anxiety to drop.
- Respecting feeling of a child and understanding them is a very essential part. Trying to be empathetic encourages a child that they can face their fears.
- Â Rewarding children’s behaviour and praising them for no matter whatever little thing they did actually help to motivate them.
Anxious children face trouble when they are not able to cope up with the source of anxiety. Thus it is necessary to help them with right method of stress management to get rid of their worries and fears.
